2017: An Editorial Odyssey

Kubrick left us with a terrifying image of AI in *2001: A Space Odyssey*, but the author of the four novels, A.C. Clarke, made it clear in his subsequent novels that HALL’s malevolence was nothing more than human errors in its programming, which could be corrected. The HALL in the following novels shows us the other side of what AI could be.
2017: An Editorial Odyssey is a project commemorating Arthur C. Clarke's birth centenary (1917-2008), through an art edition of his saga of Space Odysseys. Covers are made using materials that react to heat and light, making the reader act on the object, following an idea behind the books. For the four covers, the stories are translated into symbols that are understandable for the reader only once they have read the stories.
