“The blue girl” was created with contrast on my mind. I wanted to create a piece that catches your eye while looking at the background, or foreground. The background was created by carving into the red paint- exposing the yellow paint I previously painted. I wanted to also give the girl an aboriginal look- as I am aboriginal myself. I love the shading I created and the details in the lines and dots.
