A chair inspired by a demolished bridge

Some days ago, I was searching images about an old Portuguese bridge know as Pênsil and by a matter of luck, I found a lot of images of an amazing chair with the same name.

I've found that the chair is actually inspired by the beauty and strength of the old bridge and their support pillars.

Pensil is a solid comfortable chair with a sculptured wooden structure and it has three versions: a simple chair, an armchair and a lounge chair (my favorite and the one in the images).

Pensil can be totally customized. You can combine the wood option with the fabric.

The designer is the German Tom Kelley and it is manufactured in Portugal by a company called Wewood - Portuguese Joinery with years of experience in solid wood, mainly oak and walnut, and collaborations with international designers.
