Working with extensive research, I aim to propose ideas and pieces of work that are sensitive and intriguing in the way they approach complex issues and notions. My spontaneous and subconscious creations come from very careful planning and imply ideas concerning the mind and the unconscious.
This serie of paintings was mainly inspired by Odyssey, a poem written by Homer that tells of the journey of Odysseus returning to Ithaca and which is mainly happening in the sea. My work is an automatic, subconscious and yet sensitive translation to this long excursion.
