About Eclipses. About Birthdays. is a short visual story about childhood memories, loss, and the ways we remember the people we love.
Inspired by a solar eclipse in August, the story moves between the summer of 2009, when a total eclipse took place on the day of my grandfather’s funeral, and my memories of him years later.
Through everyday scenes and personal memories, the story brings together moments from different times, looking at how we carry the people we love with us as life moves on.
