I make art from a place of curiosity, not certainty. Whether it's a hibiscus blooming in an abstract sky or a figure caught mid-motion, running from or toward something—my art starts with a question and rarely ends with an answer.
Abstract Amateurism, for me, is a return to wonder. It’s not just a style but a philosophy — one that values sincerity over skill, feeling over finesse. It was born from a desire to unlearn the stiffness adulthood imposes and to access a more fearless, childlike mode of creation. In this world, proportions may be “wrong,” but emotions are always right.
At its core, my art is about freedom — from perfectionism, from boxed-in expectations, from rules that never asked if they applied to me.
