David Jarrett studied at Medway College of Art and Design and Central School of Art - gaining his BA Hons in 1987
A successful career as a freelance designer followed before changing course into the corporate world including roles in London , Chicago and Manchester
A move to Norfolk post Covid provided the opportunity to start drawing and painting again and he quickly met like minded groups of people making work in the area
Since 2023 he has exhibited both locally and nationally . Notable successes include winning the WNAA peoples choice award in 2025 , Wisbech Gallery Curators Special Mention , exhibiting in The OXO Gallery as part of the Derwent Art Prize shortlist , and showing in Brighton , London and Cambridge
His work comprises of detailed pencil drawings , stylised acrylic landscapes on paper and mixed media abstract
