My work is rooted in experimentation, transformation, and a constant testing of materials, images, and processes. I approach the studio almost as an alchemist: combining, altering, layering and rebuilding in search of unexpected visual outcomes.
Rather than following a fixed method, I allow accidents, resistance, and uncertainty to become part of the work. Each piece develops through a process of reaction and discovery, where control and chance continuously negotiate with one another.
Through this process, abstract landscapes begin to emerge, unstable, imagined territories that sit somewhere between matter, memory, and perception. I am interested in that moment when an image stops being what it was and begins to become something else: unfamiliar, ambiguous, and open to interpretation.
