Submission Painting

Autopsy

Autopsy investigates the subconscious and the instability of human experience through painting. Rather than offer definitive answers, the exhibition isolates, deconstructs, and reassembles complex thoughts, searching for something beyond the sum of their parts.
Drawing from intuition and subconscious imagery, pastel linework evokes form and movement, cutting through white space like a scalpel. Fleeting moments, remembered situations, and theatrically choreographed forms establish each composition. Paint introduces dimension, texture, and mood. Tensions emerge between desire and autonomy, attraction and melancholy, the body and its instability.
The human body becomes both subject and evidence: a recognizable form through which intangible experiences are examined.
