I shot this with my old analogue Nikon, so that automatically takes me somewhere in the past, someplace where the picture and the song dance together, in between the soft blow of Ben's trumpet and the touch of Laura's skin. Both are simple representations, of a short moment in the present, with such power, that they can make you feel as if you were right there, listening to Ben play, or feeling the warmth of her skin.
