Through daily drawing, I explore how a still image can hold the rhythm of a moving body. Working from observations of everyday gestures and dance footage, I use loose lines and overlapping marks to trace shifts in weight, balance, and direction. Figures share the page, creating connections through the spaces between them. My background in animation shapes my attention to transitions: how one pose leads into another, and how a small gesture can suggest feeling without a detailed face. These drawings are an ongoing study of movement, using line and color to bring fleeting gestures into view.
