I had the pleasure of working on season 2 of Bless the Harts. The series was produced by Disney's 20th Century Television and Fox Entertainment. This TV comedy was written and created by Emily Spivey, featuring an impressive voice cast that includes Maya Rudolph, Jillian Bell, Kristen Wiig, Ike Barinholtz, and Kumail Nanjiani.
I was the background and asset designer on the show. The process typically begins with the storyboard artist/revisionist passing along rough drafts to the background artists and we start by understanding the character placements and most importantly the camera angles. We then create rough background layouts and pass them along to the supervisor who approves the layouts for the final render and clean up. It was an absolute delight to work with the team.
