These Photos where taking during the USA election 2016 on a Sundays streetparade in the summertime in Zelienople a small Borough 28 miles North from Pittsburg- Pennsylvania. This series shows Patriotism at its best. Coming from a country like Germany one would normally never see this , since patriotism is seen in another way here- this really caught my eye. For example the image of the young boy who was just sitting next to a jeep playing with his plastic American flag themed gun with a lemonade next to him was a unique moment that gave me some sort of goose pumps. It felt like a surreal summer day in a young boys life.This series is very accurate since, it’s a moment in time that is repeating itself with this years USA elections, and also, to think that because of Covid times- these gatherings won’t be happening anytime soon.
