“Bola de Meia, Bola de Gude” is an ongoing series rooted in vernacular photographs and childhood memories. I intervene in these images with watercolor and embroidery on paper, creating a space between document, remembrance, and reinvention. Thread introduces time, gesture, and materiality, while color shifts the way the original photograph is perceived. My practice explores how personal images carry traces of people, places, affection, and time, and how memory can alter what we see and what we remember. Through these interventions, photographs become objects of memory, preserving fragments of everyday life while allowing them to be transformed.
