Submission Illustration

Book covers, posters, cover vinyl artwork, editorial and personnal illustrations

Maxime Sudol is a French illustrator and independent art director based in Marseille, in the south of France. His practice moves between editorial illustration, book illustration, posters, vinyl artwork and personal projects.

Working with drawing, printmaking techniques, textures and layered compositions, he develops a distinctive visual language that combines figurative elements with more experimental forms. His images often explore the relationships between nature, landscapes, animals and human figures, balancing narrative and graphic expression.

Alongside commissioned work for publishers, cultural institutions and the press, he pursues personal research into image-making, material and colour, constantly exploring new ways of combining drawing, texture and print.
