Scherin Panizzi is a 33 year old female mixed media artist living and working in the southwest of Germany. Her work consists of
layering different techniques to create multiple timelines in her paintings,
sometimes abstract, sometimes more figurative depending on the subject and story to be told.
Her Topics are childhood memories, linked to a cozy familiarity in regards to trauma and deep underlying emotions as well as experiencing those in a female, chronically ill body.
Scherin’s life as a child from vastly different backgrounds (Polish and Kurdish), living in Germany and feeling at home in subculture and lifestyle of the 90s and 2000s with a connection to Japanese pop culture and y2k symbolism provides as a continious inspiration for her work.
