In my paintings, I am focused on creating new, abstracted worlds that allow an escape from reality. My loose, expressive brushstrokes are driven by shapes and light to create a dream-like scene for the viewer. I capture the raw emotions that come from my reaction to an environment and translate it onto the surface through colors and textures.
