Solidarity has been the only land I have wondered in this past year. Living in Los Angeles, I find it easy to overlook the beauty that resides in this trendy city. Yet, I have found peace in a place that consistently offers warm weather, endless hiking trails, more breeds of trees you could possibly count and hidden away apartment complexes that remind you to take a step back and enjoy all that it offers...by yourself. One morning I woke up and spent some time outside in this hidden space somewhere in mid-city before returning to the overcrowded streets of LA.
