Whenever I visit a new place, I bring a small sketchbook with me. During a week in Cefalù, I collected photographs, quick drawings and small details from the sea, the old town and everyday life. Back home, I looked through everything I had gathered and let the memories resurface. I didn’t want to simply redraw Cefalù as it was, but to portray it as it had stayed with me. ​​​​​​​“Cefalù, from memory” is a series of eight illustrated postcards, connected by a shared colour palette, a free approach to drawing and the simple pleasure of creating without too many rules.
