My work extends the lineage of surrealism into the 21st century, exploring the emotional and philosophical tensions between humanity, nature, and emerging technologies.
Drawing inspiration from Renaissance masters’ understanding of line and space, the Impressionists’ sensitivity to color, and the imaginative compositions of early surrealists, I have developed a unique visual language.
I focus on the conflict between reason and emotion, especially in an era where AI is rapidly integrating into daily life.
Emotion, to me, is both humanity’s greatest strength and its deepest vulnerability.
I believe that contemporary painting should honor tradition while responding to the complexity and transformations of our time, capturing the romance and chaos born from the entanglement of humanity, nature, and technology.
