My painting explores the absurdities of human behaviour through grotesque figures, irony and symbolism. Drawing on everyday life, I create scenes that balance humour with unease, revealing tensions between social roles, individual desires and human vulnerability.
In my *Characters – Strange Human Theatre* series, figures become portraits and caricatures of contemporary society. Through exaggerated forms and unexpected juxtapositions, I examine power, vanity, alienation and the contradictions beneath social conventions.
My paintings inhabit a space between the familiar and the surreal, where the comic becomes unsettling and the ordinary turns theatrical. I invite viewers to recognise fragments of themselves and the world around them in these ambiguous encounters.
