From memory I recreate the cities which fascinate me. Up close and in detail I minutely recapture everything I love about each individual city. To make these drawings initially I do a freehand sketch in pencil which serves as study and support for the actual drawing which is done in ink and watercolour. It takes from several weeks and up to half a year to complete each piece although I work on several drawings at the same time.
