This series of paintings of Montreal's Plateau neighbourhood was done in watercolour. There's so much vibrant life to the city shown in the subtlest to loudest detail. My paintings bring that out through their application of bold colour that allow them to stand out. I am focused on bringing out the things that accentuate everyday life. I am a proud Montrealer who finds another way to appreciate it every time I return home.
