Creatures, entities, and transcending nature

Influenced by my multicultural background as mixed race and international lifestyle, my art style is a blend of different inspirations; ranging from traditional Japanese art and Italian illustration. Subtle but with vibrant, frenetic qualities. My childhood experiences of coming into contact with nature has fostered a love for plants and animals, which are the primary inspiration and subject matter for my work. My art typically revolves around coexistence, where figures are in harmony with their surroundings - seemingly blending into the environment. Strange creatures or human-animal hybrids also explore this idea as they blur the lines between man and the wilderness. These entities represent not only my passion for nature but also my identity as well: ambiguous and multifaceted.
