I create surrealist scenes that deal with the themes of captivity and curated spaces. The way that humans construct artificial habitats for animals has always fascinated me as control is inherent to our nature. The theme of control translates well to illustration because the act of drawing is a form of constructing an artificial space and having control over every aspect of that space.
