Current Solo Exhibition “Patterns of Stored Time” at Arsenal, in Hvar, Croatia

A monumental solo exhibition by Croatian artist Andrea Musa, Patterns of Stored Time, is on view at the historic Arsenal in Hvar, Croatia. Exploring human perceptions of time within natural systems, the multimedia project is rooted in a twenty-year archive of personal field notes, photographs, and video recordings gathered during the artist’s time in the mountains. The exhibition features more than 20 paintings, mostly of monumental scale, alongside the artist’s texts on the phenomenon of time and a large-scale video installation with original music by Canadian-Berlin-based composer and sound artist Timothy Isherwood. Presented as part of the 35th Hvar Summer Festival, with a catalogue foreword by Ivana Vukušić, the exhibition remains open until October 1, 2026.
