DANS TES RÊVES

DANS TES RÊVES emerged from a period of intensely vivid dreams. What began as an attempt to paint what remained of them gradually became a guiding thread for a new body of work. The title comes from “in your dreams”, a phrase that can be playful, dismissive or confrontational, especially when responding to someone crossing a boundary or making an inappropriate demand. It became a question: what boundaries do we place around our own dreams? We live in a world of seemingly endless possibilities, yet social expectations, fear and inherited beliefs can make certain desires feel impossible. Blue figures inhabit spaces within endlessness. The canvas becomes their only boundary; their bodies adapt to it, slightly uncomfortable yet strangely at ease. The works sit between dream and waking reality, questioning the limits we set ourselves
