My artistic practice is rooted in contemporary figurative painting, exploring the relationship between observation, memory, emotion and everyday experience. Through oil painting, I approach portraits, human figures, animals and ordinary moments as starting points for a personal investigation into the way we perceive and relate to the world. I am interested in the space between what is seen and what is felt. Rather than illustrating a specific narrative, I seek to create images that emerge from observation, reflection and discovery. My work develops through a dialogue between color, form, light and material. For me, painting is both a way of understanding myself and engaging with reality.
