A calling to my southern roots, "did you see?" is a project celebrating the infamous folk tales of the south. As I prepare to leave behind my southern hometown in pursuit of a bigger city, I remember fondly the influence that generational tales of entities and spirits had on my artistic development. Now, as an artist with an interest in including elements of horror and nostalgia in my work, I honor the beginnings of my paranormal interest with a look into the mundanely frightening south.
