We’re sort of living in a dual reality. There is the material world out there but we also have this opportunity to use technology as a medium for all people. A spike in tech use, and globalism, have resulted in a rise in cultural exchange, hybridity, and dual realities. This is our contemporary moment and I've chosen to study it through my work. I think of my works as landscape paintings, except my observations consist of language, and culture – in the same way someone would render a physical landscape I render cultural ones. I’m observing the cultural metaphorical landscape.
