Issue 2 of the letterpress magazine features contributions from Virgin Wood Type (USA) , Popolo Press (Canada), Stanley Donwood (UK) & Novo Typo (Netherlands) amongst others and is printed entirely on a single colour Heidelberg SBB Cylinder press.
Monotype's Walbaum (374 & 375) adorns the pages in a variety of sizes, weights and styles, having mostly been machine set on a Monotype Composition Caster by Neil Winter at The Whittington Press.
The issue is illustrated throughout utilising a dizzying array of original lino-cuts, hand-cut custom wood type, and laser cut plexiglass.
Double Dagger 2 has been shortlisted in the 2017 Stack Magazine awards in the category of 'Art director of the year'.
