This new series of small paintings started out as a dream that I had, in which I saw how the "no picture" colour bars of an old television literally came out of the screen as an abstract and seemingly moldable shape. I combine monochrome elements, such as my own hands, with vivid abstract shapes in dark, skull-patterned backgrounds.
