My artistic works are mainly collages which use
vintage magazines as basic material. Fragments of long ago develop a visual
after-life. Pieces with their own time-specific patina seem to have the power to
bring back memories. Easily there might arise a moment of nostalgia – if there
wasn‘t the irritation of the montage, which addresses the viewer directly and makes
her to a participator in a shifting. In my artwork the paper-pieces shift
by chance in a new form and challenge reality. When I create, my head stops thinking.
