Espacios

Espacios emerged from my arrival in Havana and a diagnosis of otosclerosis that gradually led me, almost without realizing it, into an isolation where the image began to take up space as a way to navigate silence. The photographs are born from long walks, with no greater purpose than to calm the anxiety provoked by stillness. These images, born from an intimate process, hint at questions about the relationship between body and space, and how the environment amplifies or suggests inner states.
