EXPLORING CUBISM THROUGH THE LIMITLESS WORLD OF COLOR

In 2016 I learned the academic rules of anatomy, color, and composition. Little by little I was losing creativity and artistic freedom. I spent several years producing black and white art seeking to hone my shading and proportion observation skills.
After graduating from Pima Community College, I wanted to develop a style of my own that would make me feel more honest and consistent with myself.
To formulate my current style, I paid close attention to two artists in particular: Diego Rivera and Harry Brorby: a Mexican icon and an American artist. I am very inspired by the colors of my Mexican cultural heritage, legends, music, and poetry. Lately, I have been connecting with my taste for birds and green landscapes through drawing.
