Each collage is hand-cut from the remains of modern mass media, repurposing former ad copy and junk mail into works of art. From across a room they read as a painting; up close, they are a chaotic assemblage of words and textures. These cultural references are thus built from bits and pieces of our actual culture, viewed through the shattered mirror of my perception.
