My artistic practice is rooted in observation and slowness: a quiet form of resistance against the hurried pace of contemporary life. For me, painting is a way to give form to fleeting moments that would otherwise vanish.
I am drawn to what exists on the margins: everyday scenes, objects, and the quiet intimacy of ordinary moments. I transform everyday situations, objects, actions, and events—often overlooked—into images that retain a resonant presence and leave room for the viewer’s own memories.
In my work, I explore the boundary between the fleeting moment and the suspended memory. While my earlier practice leaned towards abstraction, I now embrace a more figurative language. This shift allows me to weave narrative and poetic elements into my artistic inquiry.
