FOURPLAY combines graphic minimalism with words to a create dialogue with a limited vocabulary of four letter words. Gravity to an individual word is intentionally vague with the implied meaning open to interpretation. This lack of clarity challenges the viewer to create context based on personal perception. Confusion is further exacerbated through abstraction into reduced geometric forms that are commonly not understood to be words, further enhancing the impact once fully visualized. The intent being to create an inner dialog that may illustrate personal bias in the use of a word rather than a dictation of my own personal views.
