Freedom is rarely felt in isolation from change. We sense it at the moment constraints are applied or lifted: weightlessness is legible only against the memory of weight, and release only against the memory of being held.
The floating buildings hold both states at once. Suspended in the sky, they appear unmoored from the foundations that govern how we live, yet the freedom to drift carries its own vulnerability: the absence of anywhere to land.
The technical simplicity is deliberate. Each edit remains visible and each seam perceptible, so that the work acknowledges its own construction. Every building has been manually severed from its context, and the image declines to hide the cut.
