My work exists in the space between attraction and discomfort, image and object, surface and substance. Moving between painting, sculpture and installation, I transform materials and visual references into unexpected relationships. I am interested in how objects carry traces of desire, value and excess, and how familiar forms can become strange, ambiguous or contradictory. Through an intuitive process of collecting, assembling and reconfiguring, I create works that question the images and material systems shaping the way we see and experience the world.
