My name is Vaso Michailidou (she/her). I am a Greek illustrator, based in my home city of Thessaloniki. After studying illustration in the UK, I returned home and took up graphic design, eventually working at a creative studio doing a bit of everything. On the side, I was keeping my personal creative practice alive through sketchbooks, zines, clay, comics. Some years later I decided to go freelance, for a chance to grow to my full potential - and built my illustration portfolio from scratch. My style has been moulded through the years into a texture-rich and fun, dynamic visual language, taking inspiration both from the graphic design and illustration world, that best allows me to bring my characters and ideas to life.
