I never really been the one to plan out how to start a project of what colors to use or what I want it to look like because my idea always changed. I know I don't know what I want when I paint but I know it will still be me. I keep going until I like what I see.
The flow of my work the texture, color and lines. Graffiti, to others is the idea of a rough vandalized something with unappealing colors displayed on the side of a rusted building. this is the texture that i want my work to display but still be beautiful. At the time I was living in downtown OTR in Cincinnati. The unscratched canvas shows the looseness and unperfect part of the downtown area. the bright and odd colors show the wild and exciting parts of OTR and the festivals. The surroundings made a big impact on my work at the time.
