My work is characterized by structured compositions reminiscent of American realism painting and a treatment of light and color borrowed from the impressionist movement. My painting mixes cultural and personal inspirations and questions the future, the transience of life and its mystery. The search for emotions is at the center of my work.
I imagine my paintings from photographs that I take and rework on Photoshop. After printing on canvas, I repaint the compositions in oil and add a personal touch, especially in terms of color and texture. All my paintings are original works and require hours of work.
