Over the past year, I've partnered with Crushed Magazine to document the witch-house and hyperpop scene in the Bay Area. Using a mixture of digital and film photography, I have tried to capture the energy and frenetic pace of these shows and the artists who put them on. There's a sort of menacing darkness to these shows, communicated in the hypnotic strobed lighting in a haze of blue smoke. But through that vampiric cool, the scene finds its own moody way to support its fans and artists. I've tried to capture a portion of that camaraderie in this collection.
