I Can’t Calculate The Volume of My Existence

The artist, who deals with concepts such as duality, conflict, loss of control, figural-cognitive deterioration, loss of feeling, and the uncanny, tries to understand communication and non-communication through photography. Through photography, Arditty questions the disconnections in the immune and central nervous system, where her body went wrong, at what point the disconnections she experienced bothers her, where the sense of uncanny settled in her body, whether her body and her “self” belong to her or not. Realizing that she started to take some pleasure from this quest that perhaps complicates her unstable existence thank thanks to photography, the artist, while questioning at what moments her body does not belong to her or not, reflects on the relationship between body and time.
