I fondali del cielo

I fondali del cielo (The Seabed of the Sky) draws inspiration from 'The Song of the Pearl' and imagines the celestial birth of a pearl and its descent through an undefined, suspended space. The work is part of my research into images conceived as living tableaux: pictorial spaces in which forms emerge, dissolve, and transform before the viewer’s eyes. Animation is approached not as narrative movement, but as an extension of illustration —a way of allowing the image to breathe, accompany the music, and unfold slowly as a silent, contemplative presence.
