For kids who never wanted to grow up,
and adults who still carry a kid’s heart.
In the 1970s, British punk band Sham 69 mourned the clashes between punks and skinheads in their audience, singing through tears:
“If the kids are united, then we’ll never be divided.”
The fighting continued, but the song lived on as an anthem of unity, bringing kids around the world together in song.
Whenever I get together with my friends from the worlds of art and music to share our dreams, the excitement builds and a strange sense of unity takes hold.
“Alright, let’s go!”
At that moment, this song always plays in my head, giving me the strength to move forward.
If this artwork gives you that same feeling,
let’s sing along together!
