Illustrator Clover Li depicts a smarter stay-in life during the pandemic

This is an editorial illustration for the Washington Post, about how the Pandemic spurs new smart home products designed to boost your health and efficiency. In other words, to help you keep good track of the health status of you and your loved ones. Companies are also developing upgraded products to make life easier, such as an oven that has a camera in, and would tell you when the food is ready!
Clover made this lovely, bright family cooking together while getting help from different smart devices scenes in a very soft tone. The green on the foreground and background shows her wishes for a healthier and happier life even in a dark time like now. She also used a rather retro language to depict these futuristic devices as she loves looking through vintage photos of how people imagine the future in the past.
