In-Between

“Come back. Even as a shadow, even as a dream.”
― Euripides

In-Between examines the transgression between light and shadow, sun and shade, skies and the sea, humane and the spellbinding. This photographic exploration began for me when I was high up in the mountains and noticed the evanescing boundary between the sky and the sea, the invincible, in-between line between them. Since that, I started paying attention to those other-dimensional ‘cracks’ into what seems to be a portal into another stratosphere that we do not necessarily have access to. I started paying attention to the shadows and light, and to the shapes and figures that the fusion of those creates.
It made me think about Euripides’ quote in Herakles, “Come back. Even as a shadow, even as a dream”.
