In the hours of the rodeo

Andrew is a documentary photographer and director from Atlantic City, NJ.
His work spans from quick bursts of in-the-moment shots of strangers (with and without their permission), to album and cover art, to music video and short film.
Now in their 68th year of operation, this series is a documentation of Cowtown Rodeo: the oldest current running rodeo in the nation.
A documentation on all the people who inhabit the grounds of the rodeo, the modern-day cowboy and a deep infatuation with horses.
You can say what you want about the “cowboy” or the “rancher” or the types of people that frequent these events but you can’t deny the fact that this is a culture. This is a way of life and will continue to be for generations to come.
